Performance Tester

Experience Requirements:

  • Should have an experience in performance testing between 2-4 years.
  • Knowledge on: Tools - JMeter, Junit and other open source performance tools, Ability to handle various kinds of Load, stress and performance test, Good analytical skills on resource utilization in terms of memory, threads, CPU, network.
  • Testing: Preparing test strategy, Writing and reviewing test cases, Reporting metrics.
  • OS: Solaris, UNIX, and Linux.
  • DB: Oracle 9i, 10g, MySQL, PL/SQL, Analyzing and tracing Database Performance, Query optimization.
  • Application/ Web Servers: Apache, JBoss, and Tomcat.
  • Should have hands-on experience in the following: Java profilers (Ex: JProfiler), Analyzing thread dumps and memory dumps, Jconsole /Jmat/ Jhat.
  • Should be keen to learn and experiment with new tools
