The qualified candidate will be part of mPortal’s Smart Phone Client development team and will be involved in mPortal’s product design and development..

Experience Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience of development in Embedded/Mobile domain.
• 2+ years of experience in Application development on Blackberry and 3+ years in Java/C++ is a must.
• Need to be well versed with exception handling, permission settings, networking, file system access, imaging, multi threading, UI, RMS, OTA and installations.
• Porting J2ME Apps to Blackberry and vice versa will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of OOPS programming languages ( C++/Java).
• Knowledge of J2ME/ Symbian (S60)/ Android is an added advantage (not mandatory).
• Knowledge of Version Controlling Tools like CVS, SVN, Clear case, and so on.
• Good communication skills are a must.
• Should be self-driven and operate independently with less guidance.

• Must have hands-on code experience and should have led a team of 4 to 5 developers in the past.
• Ability to lead and mentor team of application developers.
• Ability to design solutions and come up with innovative solutions.
• Ability to delegate and review code submitted.
• UI design.
