Description:

The qualified candidate will be part of mPortal’s Smart Phone Client development team for its India office and will be involved in mPortal’s product design and development.

Experience Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience of development in Embedded/Mobile domain.
• 1+ years experience in Application development on Android and 3+ years in Java/C++ is must.
• Need to be well versed with Android Internals [NDK, SDK, AIDL, OpenGL 2D and 3D graphics, Telephony (GSM, CDMA), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Linux Kernel, Camera, Audio, Video, Location and Map library, and so on].
• Those who have developed high end applications/ platforms published on Android Market will be preferred (need reference links).
• Good knowledge of OOPS programming languages (C++/Java).
• Knowledge of J2ME/ Symbian (S60)/ Blackberry is an added advantage (not mandatory).
• Knowledge of Version Controlling Tools like CVS, SVN, Clear case, and so on.
• Good communication skills are a must.
• Should be self-driven and operate independently with less guidance.

Key Job Responsibilities Include:

• Must have hands-on code experience and should have led a team of 4 to 5 developers in the past.
• Ability to lead and mentor team of application developers.
• Ability to design solutions and come up with innovative solutions.
• Ability to delegate and review code submitted.
• UI design.
