Description:

The qualified candidate will be part of mPortal’s Smart Phone Client development team for its India office and will be involved in mPortal’s product design and development.

Experience Requirements:

• 3-4 years of experience of development in Embedded/Mobile domain.
• 1 or more years of experience in Application development on Android Platform and 1 or more years of experience in Java/C++ is a must.

• Need to be well versed with Android Internals [NDK, SDK, AIDL, OpenGL 2D and 3D graphics, Telephony (GSM, CDMA), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Linux Kernel, Camera, Audio, Video, Location, and Map library.]

• Those who have developed high end applications/platforms published in Android Market will be preferred (need reference links).

• Good knowledge of OOPS programming languages (C++/Java)
• Knowledge of J2ME/ Symbian (S60)/ Blackberry is an added advantage (not mandatory).
• Knowledge of Version Controlling Tools like CVS, SVN, Clear case, and so on.
• Good communication skills are a must.
• Should be self-driven and operate independently with less guidance.

Key Job Responsibilities Include:

• Must have hands-on code experience and handle a particular module.

• Ability to work as a part of a team, and mentor trainees.

• Design UI and implementation.
